The search is on to find the next Chief Executive Officer for the North East England Chamber of Commerce (NEECC).
After 15 years as CEO, James Ramsbotham CBE will leave the Chamber later this year to become Chair of Newcastle Building Society.
NRG have been retained by NEECC to appoint James Ramsbotham's successor. The assignment is being personally handled by James Carss, Managing Director at NRG.
James said “I am thrilled to be handling this assignment in what is such a critical and pivotal role in the North East of England. The great achievements and legacy of James Ramsbotham CBE DL leave a tremendous platform and springboard for the successor to partner with businesses and stakeholders to continue lead and serve the North East England business community.
“The incumbent CEO will continue to represent the North East business community nationally and internationally through engagement with the British Chambers of Commerce and directly with the government and other organisations around the world.
James will be the hardest of acts to follow, but we look forward to working in partnership with The Chamber to appoint his successor”.
