About Suitability by Society Matters
Suitability by Society Matters will offer a dress-for-interview service where outfits are provided without cost, this is supported by CV and Interview prep with an overall aim of building confidence to succeed in an interview. The service is available to any male or individual who identifies as male, in the North East aged 16 and above. The offer is modelled on the highly successful Smart Works Newcastle, which has successfully operated in the region for almost 7 years and offers interview clothing and coaching to women.
Impressed by the service but curious to understand where to refer his male clients, the original founder, Darren Tate, set up Suit-ability cic. The organisation has built a reputation but was limited in its ability to grow at pace. Suitability by Society Matters will provide the service with the resources to make a sizable region-wide impact on male unemployment, and pre-interview support for men and women will be equalised. We are looking forward to working more closely with Smart Works Newcastle to help more people in the region into the world of good work.
