Outsourced Advisory Executive

Due to significant growth over the last twelve months, we are looking for a self-directed and forward-thinking ACA/ACCA part or fully qualified accountant, to work within the outsourced FD service line.
The successful candidate should be interested in supporting small to medium sized privately owned businesses, through managing a portfolio of clients supported by the rest of the team.

The role:
Over the past few years, the use of outsourced finance and advisory functions has increased steadily for businesses of all sizes and industries, with a key focus on business performance and support to enable the business to achieve its goals. This effectively means delegating financial tasks and responsibilities to a third-party service provider.
Our client’s overall aim is to ease the burden of financial administration, saving their clients’ time and money, and ensuring they achieve their goals and strategic plans.
Our client stands out from their peers by taking a carefully planned, strategic approach that ensures their clients have clear, accurate and real-time financial data, allowing business owners and stakeholders, with their guidance, to make the right strategic business decisions, and achieve their growth objectives.
Key Duties:
Manage comprehensive suite of outsourced advisory services
Develop and expand on existing and new client relationships with key decision makers, and the wider team
Ensuring continuous delivery, to set deadlines, of all ongoing client engagements
Full management of your clients accounting system(s), and back-office requirements, including VAT returns, cash flow management, forecasting, annual financial budgets and company secretarial duties
Preparation of management accounts, management information and complimentary data, sense checking the output, removing inconsistencies, identifying trends and providing insightful commentary to clients
Assist in developing systems which facilitate management data used to identify trends, problems or opportunities, help run businesses, make key decisions and create or achieve strategic plans
Work with a varied portfolio with regular client interaction, job autonomy and full support from a team of hard-working specialists
Preparing year end accounts for outsourced advisory clients.
You will have:
Excellent written and oral communication skills, adaptable to various environments
Strong organisational skills: able to work in a team, handle pressure, and manage multiple tasks to meet and exceed deadlines

Experience with cloud-based software, especially Xero and related applications, is an advantage
