Position Overview

Our client are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead and manage sales teams across Europe and international regions, while driving the growth and development of key client accounts. The Director of Sales will be responsible for delivering revenue growth through strategic leadership, client relationship management, and ensuring alignment between sales efforts and overall company objectives. A key focus will be on solutions related to worker classification, compliance, and umbrella company services, which are central to supporting clients in managing their global workforce expansion.

Reporting directly to the Global Managing Director, this role is integral to expanding the organisation's presence in key international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for Europe and international regions, in line with overall company growth objectives, with a specific focus on services that address worker classification and compliance needs.

  • Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for regional sales teams.

  • Lead, manage, and motivate sales teams across multiple regions, ensuring high performance and accountability.

  • Foster a high-performance culture by implementing best practices in sales operations, training, and team development, particularly in compliance-driven solutions.

  • Drive collaboration between the sales team and other departments, including Marketing, Operations, and Client/Contractor Experience, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives, especially those related to worker classification and umbrella company services.

  • Take ownership of key client accounts, providing strategic oversight and ensuring long-term relationship management, while ensuring compliance with workforce regulations.

  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services, including compliance and worker classification solutions, to key accounts, increasing revenue streams.

  • Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to ensure satisfaction and alignment with their evolving regulatory and compliance needs.

  • Monitor and analyse sales performance data, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.

  • Implement strategies to improve sales conversion rates and overall revenue performance in key regions.

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and industry developments across Europe and international markets, particularly in the areas of worker classification, compliance, and umbrella company solutions.

  • Utilise market intelligence to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.

  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure smooth post-sales transitions and ongoing client satisfaction, particularly in sectors related to worker compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

  • Extensive and demonstrable sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing sales teams and driving revenue growth.

  • Experience in workforce management, HR technology, or a similar B2B environment is highly desirable.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and motivate teams across multiple regions.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing key client accounts and fostering long-term relationships, while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
