About the role
We have an opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our high-achieving, market leading precision engineering client based in Newcastle Upon Tyne due to their continued successful growth.
Reporting into the Head of Operations, and working closely with the group business development team, the role of Technical Sales Engineer will look to maximize opportunities for success and develop long term relationships with new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of new and existing client relationships through effective account management
Identify and target new potential clients
Compilation of estimates for new business
Monitor relevant market and sectors
Assist with post contract review to ensure new jobs have achieved the estimated added value and help identify improvement methods to increase efficiencies
Required Experience
Technical sales experience in engineering solutions
Quotation experience in precision engineering
Level 3 CNC Machining or HNC in Engineering
Commercially astute, identifies opportunities to support clients through additional service solutions
Technically credible, able to identify, understand and solve customer problems
