About the role

We are seeking a talented Cyber Security Analyst to join a dynamic team within the Technology department. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the secure and stable operation of the companies in-house systems and infrastructure.

The successful candidate will monitor and investigate security alerts from tools such as Arctic Wolf while also contributing to compliance audits including Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and vendors, driving continuous improvements in our cyber security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer security systems (firewall, anti-virus, SCCM/In-tune, etc.).

• Investigate and mitigate risks from alerts and vulnerability testing.

• Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve security incidents.

• Support audits and ongoing compliance efforts for certifications such as Cyber Essentials Plus.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in Infrastructure, Network, or Security roles.

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA are advantageous.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate technical requirements into solutions.

• A confident communicator with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with security frameworks like OWASP and ISO27001 is a plus.

This role will be based out of Edinburgh but may require travel to other UK offices – this is to be discussed at interview.
