About the role

They are hiring a Payroll Officer to join their team at our Head Office in Bowburn. You will be supported by the Payroll Manager and given the relevant systems training to deliver an efficient payroll administration service to over 1800 employees.
Salary between £22,500 - £30,790 in the Bownburn office (hybrid working offered).
The Role:
This is a busy role, working with a high volume of employees over 2 payrolls and requires someone with up-to-date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation. The Payroll Officer will be the point of contact for all payroll queries, so you will need to demonstrate good communication skills and be confident dealing with external agencies such as HMRC. You will be process driven, demonstrating attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a supportive member of the finance team.
Person Specification:
Solid previous payroll knowledge and experience.
Strong person and communication skills.
Possess good values and demonstrate honesty.
Ability to hit the ground running.
