We have an exciting opportunity to join an expanding, successful accountancy service providing a complete range of solutions for small to medium businesses.
Your pro-active and forward-thinking approach will play a vital part in building the firm’s success. Being self-motivated and ambitious will aid your responsibility for providing clients with an all-round accounting, tax and business advisory service.
The role has a salary of £27,000, working remotely with on-site training.

Your key duties will include:
Overseeing your own portfolio of client’s production of statutory accounts; corporation tax returns; VAT returns; personal tax returns; payroll and management accounts all whilst working within a small team.
Client relationships are essential, the successful candidate will maintain regular contact with clients who have a limited knowledge of accounting and tax regimes.
Managing your own time, ensuring clients’ deadlines are met and providing guidance to junior members of the team are also responsibilities of the successful candidate’s job.
What you need:
Ideally a minimum of three years’ current practice experience.
AAT finalist or ACCA part-qualified is preferable.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Confident IT skills, including knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word.
Competent experience with Xero and FreeAgent.
Tax Calc and Digita experience is desirable.
Confident telephone manner and good written communication.
Good ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
