NRG is proud to partner with Blacksons, a fast-growing, nationwide network of RICS-qualified professionals, in their search for a Chartered Building Surveyor / Chartered Residential Surveyor. This role offers the freedom to work autonomously while being part of an expanding team delivering expert built environment services across the UK.

Basic salary of £60,000 - £65,000 DOE per annum
Annual bonus scheme paid quarterly
£5,000 per annum company car allowance
4.5-day working week

About the Role
Operating across England, Scotland, and Wales, Blacksons’ consultants support a diverse client base, including landlords, developers, insurers, financial institutions, and legal professionals. As part of a dynamic team of Chartered Surveyors, Valuers, Building Engineers, and Environmental Health Practitioners, you will have the freedom to shape your career while contributing to a wide range of technical and consultancy projects across the public and private sectors.
You will be involved in:
Expert witness work
Specific defect inspections
Structural assessments
New build monitoring
Dilapidation services
Schedules of condition
Licence to alter assessments
Party wall matters
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited)
MRICS/FRICS qualification
Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent and accurate report writing skills
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Numeracy skills and commercial awareness
Ability to foster relationships with professionals at all levels
Well-organised with strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
Proactive and diligent approach with a team-focused mindset
